Phyllis,  Regarding your question about "Nottingham Colony" -- I am not sure 
this will help but there were two Quaker congregations in Pennsylvania called 
East and WEst Nottingham.  I have researched several members of those groups 
who moved down to Union Co. SC and were also found in Greensboro NC.  I would 
be interested in where your "Nottingham Colony" was located.  It may be that 
some of these folks settled there.  Also, I have a book of the Quaker records 
From Nottingham called "Nottingham Quakers."  I will look up for you if you
