Thank you so much for that text I had never sawn, even if often quoted.
Thank you, too, for those relations of the startup of the Huguenot
Society of SC, which revealed to me that Gen W.G. de Saussure claimed
that the original settlement of the family was Pur(r)ysburg(h)  (spelling?). 

Now I plan to learn more about that 1726 settlement of 24 Swiss,
especially young Henry de SAUSSURE who was aged 18 at that time.
