Hello, does anyone have any knowledge of the following families from the
Cherokee Co, AL 1880 census?  Or any TANNER family from Cherokee Co, AL.  I
am searching for information on my grandfather, John TANNER.

Tanner,      Sarah A             40     born  AL
   "               Frank N             18               "
   "               John Robert      16               "
   "               Fannie               13               "
   "               Bennie               10               "
   "               William                 8               "
   "               Samuel                 5              "

Listed on the same page and two houses away  was another TANNER family:

Tanner        Willy                    45          born  GA
    "               Martha                46              "     AL
    "               James                18              "       "
    "               Eliza Jane          14              "       "

Also in the same area was one more TANNER family:

Tanner,   Marion                      26                      AL
  Roberts, Caroline                 26                      AL
Tanner,   William                     10                      AL

All the men and boys old enough to work are listed as working in 'coaling'.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
