Silas TANNER married Sarah Adalene JOHNSON, Book A, page 163 Polk Co., GA
7/5/1860. The date would have been appropriate for the parents of my gr
grandfather, variously listed as John Thomas TANNER or John Robert TANNER.
Sarah A TANNER has turned up on the 1880 Cherokee Co, AL census with 6
children.  I believe these are the same women.  If anyone has information on
