Subject: Re: Treason? And Slavery...final chapter "I hope" From: Sandy599 Date: October 14, 1999
okay okay
Enough on this subject -- this is like talking about the Bible no 2 people
will get the same massage. I'm also the product of the slave and the slavery.
But if this part of history didn't happen would I be here today. Let's not
dwell on who was the kinder slave owner. Let's just remember it happened so
we don't allow it 2 happen again 2 any group of people.
In fact I meant on of my distant cousins this year while I was in SC. I'm
black she was white. We had the best time together. Helping each other find
our links in history. I love her just like I love my other cousins. People
wise up this is genealogy we will find the good the bad and the ugliness of
it. If you let pettiness get in the way we will never get any where!
Slavery was then, lets deal with right now! Our children are seeing past
color lines. Which means we are getting there, let's not let the past ruin
our future? I personally find great pleasure in seeing my sons embrace all
people. " Just as I taught them."
{{{{{{ food for thought is -- you ever wonder why we are born without
the ability 2 see color}}}}} hummmmmm makes you think, doesn't it.
Now I'm lQQking for my people Black, White, & Indian from Marion South
Carolina.
Surnames Abraham - Abrams - Roberts (once owned by the Reading / Redden
Roberts family & the John Smith family from Buck Swamp, Marion SC) Lane (once
owned by Osborn Lane & his son James Lane of Buck Swamp Marion, South
Carolina) Bethea

Darlington / Florence SC. last found living & buried on the Round O
