Dear Folks:
I am researching an unusual headstone that I recently found in an old
black community cemetery in Beaufort SC.  The headstone reads only:
                                                  S394
                                              F.SMR_T
It is located near the grave of a member of the 35th USCT.  The stone
appears older than the stone of the  USCT veteran.  Can you help?
