Hi Deborah. We have a match, I am thrilled to say. Capt. John WILSON
also had a son named James A. Wilson, who was my ggggrandfather. I have
just gotten this line myself. Wife was Mary "Polly" Pettigrew, born ca
1742, Anson Co., NC. They married ca 1770.  Mary died before 1823,
Pendleton Dist., SC. Have John born ca 1740, NC (prob. Mecklenburg Co.,
NC). Died 1/15/1823, Anderson Co., SC. Isn't the Internet grand! Let's
