A few years ago, I visited  York Co., SC & I think I read someplace, or
heard someone say, that the Bethesda Presbyterian Church and it's cemetery
(Brattonville, York Co., SC) were re-located from their original location
to the present location.  I can't really remember how it came about, but I
believe I heard that some of the tombstones were "lost" or "given to local
residents and some of the residents used them as doorsteps."  Is that a
true story, and if so, is there proof of when it did happen?
