   How kind of you to make this offer!
   I am looking for any more information on the family of 
    OLIVER P. McLEAN(1770-1855)--frequently seen as McLAIN and McCLAIN.
    I have found him on the YORK CO.,SC censuses in 1800(McCLAIN) and
1810 (McCLAIN). But am interested in anything that shows his birth place
as IRELAND or not.
     I know he had left York Co. before 1830 census for Fayette Co., GA,
so he would have no Will in York Co.
     Oliver McLean's wife was RACHEL MILLER, dau. of JOSEPH MILLER and
NANCY STEWART.
    You offer so many sources that I hardly know how to "direct" your
search, so anything you happen upon will be terrific, as I know nothing
about his time in SC.
