Tom Allen Hubbard
Funeral services were held
March 30, 1961 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Oak Creek,
for Tom Allen Hubbard, 42. Mr. Hubbard died at the Veterans Administrations
Hospital in Denver on March 26, 1961, after an illness of three
years.
Tom Allen Hubbard was born
13 mises from Raton, NM, in the vicinity of Johnson Mesa, NM on
May 5, 1918. He came to Colorado in 1925 at the age of 7. Tom
served in the US Navy, aboard the Battleship U.S.S. South Dakota,
in the Pacific for 18 months during WWII.
Tom is survived by his mother,
Mrs. Frank Hubbard of Oak Creek, two daughters, Mrs. Howard Abbe
and Donna Hubbard both of Coos Bay, Oregon, two sons, Frank Hubbard
of Coos Bay, Oregon and Tommy Hubbard of Oak Creek. Four sisters,
Mrs. Howard Raines of Oak creek, Mrs. Robert T. Reay of Denver,
Mrs. James Doyle of Dagerton, Utah, Mrs. Gordon Booco of Hayden,
and one brother, James O. Hubbard of Oak Creek; and two grandsons.
Tom is preceded in death
by his father, Frank Deloss Hubbard in 1955, and four siblings.
Interment was in the Oak
Creek Cemetery, at Oak Creek, CO.
