Mrs. Allison Dies At 85;
Rites Friday

Mrs. Elizabeth Bradley Allison, 83, widow of the late Riley Allison, died Wednesday at the residence, Old Fort Route 1.

Funeral services were conducted at the Piney Grove Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Reverend L.W. Hall, assisted by the Reverend John Hicks.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Walter L. Allison, Mrs. Claude Burnette and Mrs. J.P. Pitman of Old Fort Route 1., Mrs. T.L. Moore of Black Mountain, L.C. Allison of Rossmoyne, Ohio; 47 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, William Bradley, Mrs. Jake Silver, Mrs. Henry Gilleland, Mrs. Henry Verble, all of Old Fort and Community, And George Bradley of East Flat Rock.

McCall's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
