Stuart Robinson Silver, M.D.
SARASOTA, Fla. Stuart Robinson Silver, M.D., 75, died Aug. 13, 2002, in Sarasota, Fla., after a long illness.
Born in Akron, he graduated from Western Reserve Academy, Dartmouth College, and Cornell Medical College. He served two years in the Navy as a ship's doctor after World War II, and then practiced as a general surgeon in northern New Jersey. He was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgeons.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, "Robin" Silver, M.D., Douglas, Duncan, Alexandra Cawley; four grandchildren; and brother, Bruce of Akron.
