Shaulis, Carl Ashley
WOOSTER -- Carl Ashley Shaulis, 80, of Wooster, and formerly of Orrville, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Horn Nursing Home in Wooster, where he has resided since April of 2007.
Services will be Monday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with Pastor Mark Ryder officiating. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Mennonite Cemetery in Rittman, where military rites will be observed.
Friends may call today (Sunday, Feb. 17), from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carl was born on Dec. 21, 1927, in Somerset, Pa., to the late Mary Katherine Shaulis and married Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Killinger on Aug. 23, 1959. She survives.
He worked as a welder for Orrville Products for many years. He previously worked at Will-Burt Company and Koppers Company in Orrville.
He was a member of Evangel Assembly of God in Wooster and provided a music ministry with his wife at the Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster. He loved animals and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed driving his car and going to yard sales.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Betty, are a son, Carl Russell Shaulis of Wooster; two daughters, RoseAnn (Dan) Stark of Dalton, and Bonnie Jean Cook of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Nichole, Jennifer, Carl, Bobby, Angel, Jeremy, Ashley and Heather; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond, Forrest, Kenneth and Dennis Showman of Pennsylvania; and a sister, Veda Harold of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ellsworth Shaulis in 1980; three brothers, Lane, Frank and Duane Showman; and a sister, Delores Showman.
