WOOSTER - Charles E. “Charlie” Weiker, 77, of Wooster, died Wednesday morning, April 26, 2006, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Drive, Wooster, with Chaplain Robin Myers officiating, followed by interment at Moreland Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted.
Friends may call one hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to services at the funeral home on Monday.

He was born March 30, 1929, in Shreve to Paul R. and Irene (Sweigard) Weiker and has been a lifelong resident of Wayne County.
He graduated from Wooster High School and Ohio Institute of Business.
Chuck served 26 years in the military including the USNR, USAF and Ohio National Guard, retiring in 1975 as a Master Sergeant.
He was a general supervisor at Rubbermaid and retired after 30 years of service in 1989.
He was a member of Central Christian Church, Wooster Elks No. 1346 and American Legion Post 68 of Wooster.
He is survived by a son, Charles E. “Bud” Weiker Jr. of Wooster; two daughters, Debra I. Hartzler of Wooster and Karen (Thomas) DeWeese of Craigton; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon (Paul) Stevens of Wooster.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Norma J. (Beal) Weiker, two sisters, Nina Tucker and Jody Schreiner, died previously.
