ORRVILLE -- Danny L. Markley, 83, 219 E. Paradise St., died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Smithville-Western Care Center, following a brief illness.

Services will be Friday, April 19, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, where graveside military services will be conducted.

Visitation will be held at the Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.

He was born August 24, 1918, in Orrville to John E. and Cora May (Getz) Markley and married Patricia Ann Bricker on Dec. 26, 1947. She survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Linda (Galen) Swartzentruber of Wooster.
