HOLMESVILLE -- Jack B. Lemon, 82, 8030 Township Road 562, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a period of declining health.
Services will be Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery, where military honors will be held.
Friends may call Friday, Dec. 14, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jack was born Jan. 9, 1925, on the family farm near Holmesville, the son of the late Thomas B. and Grace (Bellman) Lemon and married Hattie Brinkerhoff on July 3, 1948. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1944-46, serving in the European Theater. He retired from Freeman Construction in Wooster in 1987 with more than 30 years of service. He was a heavy equipment operator.
He had made his home in the Holmesville and Fredericksburg area all of his life and was a member of Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars, Melvin McClure American Legion Post 551 in Holmesville, Killbuck Valley Sportsmen's Club, Holmes County Conservation Club and Ohio Operators Engineers for more than 50 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, camping, doing yardwork and tinkering with his tractors.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Rodney (Kathy) Lemon of Fredericksburg, Linda Lemon, Gloria (Bruce) Shaw and Don (Julie) Lemon, all of Holmesville; grandchildren, Stacy (Holly) Shaw, Jeremy Shaw, Jaclyn Shaw, Mark (Melissa) Lemon, Joseph (Cathy) Lemon, Emily (Matt) Zuercher, Don Lemon Jr. and Misty Lemon; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Jim) Shriver of Wooster; and brothers, Frank (Helena) Lemon of Millersburg, Martin (DeeAnn) Lemon and Marvin (Marie) Lemon, both of Holmesville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Welker Dale, Samuel and Thomas.
