Lyle H. Martin, 67, of Anaheim, Calif., and formerly of Wooster, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999 at Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, following a six-month illness with bone cancer.

Burial of the cremains will be at a private service in Wooster at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster 44691.

He was born April 19, 1932 in Wooster to Herschel and Ruth (Mougin) Martin.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. George (Jackie) Zlatunich of Millbrae, Calif., Steve Martin of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Laura Martin of Newport Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Geraldine) Metzger of Massillon, Marceile Dundon and Mrs. Jack (Charlotte) Clampitt of Wooster and his caregiver, Dorothy Hill of Anaheim, Calif.
