WOOSTER - Leo M. Lemon, 84, of Wooster, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Akron General Medical Center.

Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Roger E. Smith officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

There will be no calling hours.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.

He was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Gore to Creed and Winifred (Summers) Lemon and married Mabel Hershey on Dec. 21, 1947. She died March 11, 2002.

He was a graduate of Shreve High School and after attending Wooster Business College, became manager of Conrad Shoes. In 1965, he became owner/operator, retiring in 1977.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and was a member of United Methodist Church of Wooster, Loudonville American Legion, was a 32nd degree mason of the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, a member of Al Koran Shrine in Cleveland, York Rite and a 50-year member of Garfield in 1991. He was a Past Master of Garfield Lodge in Shreve.

In addition to his wife, his twin brother, Junior Rex Lemon, died previously.
