WOOSTER -- Robert F. Maple, 86, of Wooster, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at Horn Nursing Home.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster; or to the Salvation Army, 437 S. Market St., Wooster 44691.

He was born April 8, 1914, in Ashland to Frank and Nellie (Wheaton) Maple.

Surviving are a sister, Ruth Braunagel of Columbus Grove; and a brother, William Maple of Millersburg.
