WOOSTER - William Cecil Martin Jr., 80, of Wooster, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at West View Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 127 W. North St., Wooster, with the Rev. Evelyn Manzella officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Saturday) from 4-6 at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

William was born March 9, 1926, in Bristow, Ky., to William Cecil Sr. and Florence (Brewer) Martin and married Margaret Griffith on Dec. 27, 1947. She survives.
He had served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a licensed engineer and consultant for United Steel Fabricators, Wooster Products and Flotork. He had served as president and C.E.O. of Magni Power/Magni Fab and was on the board of directors for eight years at Crown Steel in Orrville, as an engineer and consultant.
He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Ebenezer Lodge 33 F&AM, Wooster Shrine Club, Wooster Rotary and had worked with the Boy Scouts and was on the Y.M.C.A. Board for 13 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Linda Martin Lantz of South Lake, Texas, William Charles Martin of Wooster, Nancy Martin Demoret of Cincinnati and Richard Dudley Martin of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Betty Dewese Bartley, died previously.
