WOOSTER - William F. Leckrone, 71, 1751 Highland Park Road, Wooster died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at West View Manor Retirement Community.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, with the Rev. George Peters officiating.
Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Support Group, 140 Pearl St., Wooster 44691.
He was born May 6, 1933, in Killbuck to Russell and Mary (Fry) Leckrone. He married Faye Parsons on June 6, 1959. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked for Timken Co. for 39 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of Killbuck United Methodist Church. He enjoyed boating, camping and motorcycle riding.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Nancy Rex and Michael Leckrone, both of Wooster; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Mann, Jennifer Rex and Taylor and Cassandra Leckrone; brothers, Lester (Lynn) Leckrone of Loudonville and Wilbur (Jackie) Leckrone of Millersburg.
A sister, Lavada Leckrone, died previously.
