"Know Ye, that in consideration of military service performed by James Collier, a soldier of the War, …… there is granted by the United States unto William Leedom Assignee of Dawson Cooke, Assignee of John Collier who was the only surviving brother and heir at law of the said James Collier deceased, a certain tract of Land containing two hundred acres situate between the Little Miami and Sciota rivers, northwest of the river Ohio, as by survey bearing date the fifteenth day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and bounded and described as follows, to wit:
Survey of two hundred acres of land in favor of the said William Leedom on a Military Warrant No. 6102, on the waters of Eagle Creek; Beginning at a sugartree and Dogwood, northwest corner to Holliday Hickman's Survey No. 671; thence with their line East one hundred & six poles to an Ash and hackberry; thence North one hundred & eleven poles to a Dogwood and two ashes; thence North Sixty-three degrees West fifty-six poles to two hickories and a Sugartree in the line of Henry Heth (sic) Survey No. 1423; thence with said line South thirty degrees West three hundred & ninety two poles passing his corner at three hundred & twenty-four poles to a buck in the line of John McDowell's entry No. 902; thence with his line South sixty degrees East one hundred & twenty one poles to two dogwoods and an ash; thence North thirty degrees East twenty five poles to three dogwoods in the line of said Holliday and Hickman's Survey; thence with the said line North two hundred poles to the beginning.

To all people to whom these presents shall come or may concern, I, John Leedom of Southampton in the County of Bucks, yeoman, send greeting.  Whereas in the lifetime of John Hellings & Elizabeth his wife, late of Southampton aforesaid, now both deceased, I did bargain and exchange with him one acre of land in Southampton aforesaid, now in the tenure of Hannah Hellings, herein after particularly described, for one acre of land now in my possession, which they the said John Hellings & Elizabeth his wife purchased of Samuel Leedom, but by reason of the death of both the said John Hellings & Elizabeth his wife intestate soon after the exchange, no title was or hath been since made in confirmation thereof, Wherefore for the doing of which, the heirs and representatives of the said deceased, to wit, Thomas Hellings, John Hellings, the sd. Hannah Hellings & Jonathan Hellings, their children, and John Perkins, Henry Slack & Ruth his wife, late Ruth Perkins, their grandchildren, and I myself have now agreed and conferred(?) upon the final ratification thereof.  Therefore know ye that I the said John Leedom, for and in consideration of them the said heirs and representatives aforesaid releasing and ratifying to me the title of the said one acre of land in my possession and the sum of five shillings to me in hand paid by them the said heirs, to wit, the said Thomas Hellings, John Hellings, Hannah Hellings, Jonathan Hellings, John Perkins and Ruth Slack, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have remised, released and quit claim, and by these presents, do remise, release and forever quit claim, unto them the sd. Thomas Hellings, John Hellings, Hannah Hellings, Jonathan Hellings, John Perkins & Ruth Slack, and to their heirs and assigns, all estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever that I have or might have or could any how have, of, into, or out of the said one acre of land described as follows: viz. Beginning at a white oak at a corner of Richard Leedom, Thomas Worthington & Henry Feaster's lands on the road that leads from the Bristol to the old York road, thence along said road South thirty-nine degrees West twelve perches & eleven feet to a stone a corner of said John Leedom's land, thence by the same North forty-eight degrees West twelve perches & eleven feet to a stone for a corner, thence North thirty-nine degrees East twelve perches & eleven feet to a stone for a corner on the line of Thomas Worthington's land, thence by said Worthington's land South forty-eight degrees East twelve perches & eleven feet to the aforesaid white oak the place of beginning, containing one acre, together with the improvements, heriditaments and appartenances whatsoever thereunto belonging and the reversions, remainders, rents, issues(?) & profits thereof, to have and to hold, the same with the appertenances, unto their heirs and representatives of the said John Hellings & Elizabeth his wife deceased, to wit, the sd. Thomas Hellings, John Hellings, Hannah Hellings, Jonathan Hellings, John Perkins & Ruth Perkins, and to their respective heirs and assigns, in severally forever.  In witness whereof, I the said John Leedom have hereunto set my hand and seal, this seventeenth day of May one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven, 1787.

This deed made this the 29th day of April 1854 between Harvey Nunn and Nancy, his wife; William S Owen and Elizabeth, his wife; Stephen O'dell and Mary, his wife; Harvey Hill and Lucinda, his wife, and Katherine O'dell of the County of Pulaski; and Auguston Cooper and Amanda, his wife of the County of Washington, of the one part, all of the State of Virginia; and Levi O'dell of the County of Pulaski and state aforesaid of the other part;

Witnesseth:  That for and in consideration of services rendered by the Levi O'dell to Abraham O'dell, deceased, who formerly owned the hereafter described land the said Harvey Nunn and Nancy, his wife;  William S. Owen and Elizabeth, his wife; Stephen O'dell and Mary, his wife; Harvey Hill and Lucinda, his wife, and Katherine O'dell; and Auguston Cooper and Amanda, his wife; the heirs of the aforesaid Abram O'dell, they do grant unto the aforesaid Levi O'dell a certain tract of land (or parcel of land) lying and being in the County of Pulaski and the east side of New River, containing thirty-three acres more or less and bounded as follows To Wit:

Beginning at a white oak corner to the land of Margaret Breeding and John Carnahan and with a line of the latter South 57½° East, 27 poles to a bunch of chestnuts and a water oak on north side of a steep hill, North 32° West, 50 poles to a dogwood and hackly (sic) on a line of Allen Hurst, thence South 76° West, 62 poles to the beginning.

Said Harvey Nunn and wife, William S. Owen and wife, Stephen O'dell and wife, Harvey Hill and wife, Katherine O'dell and Auguston Cooper and wife doth covenant to and with the said Levi O'dell that they will forever warrant the title of the above described land free from the claim or claims of themselves or their heirs, in witness wereof we do set our hands and seals the day and year above written.

Owen and on a line of Andrew Boyd’s land. Thence with the latter N67E105 poles to two chestnut oaks and two black gums corner to John Kelley’s 400 acre survey. Thence with a line thereof N77W2133 poles to a stake, corner to Hollandsworth’s survey.
