Dungan family

 

The Dungan family presents some interesting connections to three branches of the Leedom family and possibly clues to the relationship between John and William Leedom, sons of Richard, and John Leedom from Ireland. One of the witnesses to William's son Richard's will, written in 1823, was a Thomas Dungan though I don't as yet know which one. And a daughter of Rev. Thomas Dungan the immigrant, Elizabeth, married Nathaniel West, and was the great-grandmother of Letitia Jones who married John Leedom of Ireland.
