Kathryn (Leedom) Ives Genealogy
The source of all my early Jaudon family information, and where I found my 6G grandmother Elizabeth Jaudon, is the Jaudon Family of Pennsylvania by Edwin Jaquette Sellers, pub. 1924. On my father's handwritten genealogy chart Elizabeth's last name looked like Sheldon. After several years, having had no luck with that surname, closer inspection with a magnifying glass revealed her name to have been written Sheidon. This led to the baptismal records of their children in the Southampton Dutch Reformed Church in Bucks County where she is named Elizabeth Schiedown.

Notes: Death date recorded in the notes of resident Henry Tomlinson with note, aged 98-99. My father's genealogy chart notes her birth in 1698 and death in 1801. It had been oft repeated in our family that this woman lived, remarkably, in three centuries. This was before her parents' marriage date was known, making her birth two years before that date unlikely though not impossible.
