With the hope to help those living afar find ancestors who may be buried in Garland, TX, in 1996 I started walking, recording, and researching grave stones and markers found (or no longer there) in the cemetery and include burials through January 1, 1998. THE FAMILY TREE OF JOHN A AND LYDIA (NEHER) SKILES.... I am not sure if this is a private publication or not. It was sent to me by mail about 3 years ago. There are some names wrtten by hand on the bottom of the front page. They are Bob & Maryalice Skiles from Daddy and Martha Skiles. John A Skiles and brothers Henry and James came from Ireland and settled in the United States.

Peter Stebbins Craig wrote a book entitled THE SWEDISH ANCESTRY OF MOSES JUSTICE OF SCHUYLER COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Shelved at Library of Congress under Illinois - Genealogy 90-131006 LC call number CS71.J98 1990.
I have a personal copy of this book. I also have a personal copy of "JUSTIS, JUSTUS, JUSTICE for ALL; A compilation of Early American Family Records" by Joyce Justus Parris that details ancestry of Mary Justus, who married George Skiles in 1802, who is son of John Skiles. If anyone would like info from these books let me know.
