I'm just beginning this interesting business about looking for ones ancestors. What a wonderful surprise that there was a web pag for the Skiles name. My query is about one James C. Skiles born 8/17/1853, in Pennsylvania I believe, died 3/9/1904. His wife Rebecca Elizabeth (Riebert) Skiles born 6/2/1857 died 3/5/1902. The rest of my family doesn't know if the birth of their grandfather (my great-grandfather) was in Harrisburg or Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania or either. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
