2. ABEL STOKES2 SMALL (ABEL1) was born July 19, 1820 in New Jersey, and died January 06, 1889. He married (1) ELIZABETH D. BRYAN 1842 in Pemberton NJ. She was born 1825 in Pennsylvania, and died 1853. He married (2) LIZZIE PARHAM 1862 in PA. She was born in Philadelphia PA.
Notes for ABEL STOKES SMALL:
He was a Colonel...probably the Mexican War. He owned a cannery in Lincoln, DE. He also had a sawmill and an evaporater. He was the proprietor of a hotel called the Washington House, Moorestown. Moved to Lincoln in 1865. He helped to lay out the town of Lincoln.
