Know all men by these presents that we Ester Small, Edward Stephinson & John Pucket are held & firmly bound to George Stovall Jun, Cornelius Thomas, James Dillard, Ambrose Rucker & Rodrich Mc Bulloch gent Justices of Amherst County now sitting in the sum of L100.0.0 to the payment whereof well & truly to be made to the said justices and their successors we bind ourselves and each of us & our heirs executors & administrators jointly & severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals this fifty day of August in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy one & in the eleventh year of the reign of our souverign lord George the second.

The condition of this obligation is such tha if the above bound Ester Small Edward Stephenson & John Puckett, administrators of all the goods chattles & credits of James Small dec do make or cause to be made a true & Perfiect inventory of all & singular the goods chattels & credits of the daid deceased which have or shall come to the hand & possesion aor knowledge of them the said ester Small Edeard Stephinson & John Puckett or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for themselves & the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the county court of Amherst at such time as they shall be thereunto required by the said court and the same goods chattels & credits & all other the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hand or possession of the said ester Small or into the hand or possession

Of any other person or persons for her do well and truly ??? answering to law & further do make a just & true account of her actings & doings therein when thereto required by this court & all the rest &* residue of the said goods chattels & credits which shall be found remaining upon the said admin account the same being first examined & allowed by the justices of the court for the time beng shall deliver & pay unto such person or persons respectively as the justices by theree powe jusdmenet shall direct persuant to the laws in that case made provided & if it shall hereafter appear that my last will & testament was made by the dec the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same into the said court making request to have it allowed & approved and accordingly if the said Ester Small being thereunto required ordered and deliver her letters of administration application of such testament being had & made in the said court then this obligation to be void & of none effect or elec to remain in full force & virtue
