SMITH, Charles J., 86, of 4412 St. Johns Ave., a member of Corinth Blvd.
United Presbyterian Church and a retired Toolmaker who was employed for 17
years at Joyce-Gridland Co., died Tuesday. His wife Maude M. nee Whitmore
preceded him in death in 1960 and he was the father of Robert J., Norman E.
and Charles E. brother of George and Mrs. Mary Rannels; grandfather of eleven
and great-grandfather of thirteen. Calling hours and funeral service will be
private Thursday with Rev. Wm. I. Graham officiating. Burial Glen Haven
Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements entrustcd to Harris Funeral Home.
