Hesther SWIFT
b. about 1668, the daughter of William and Ruth SWIFT
d. Oct 1736 in Plymouth

The births of their children are all recorded in Plymouth. They likely lived in Sandwich until Mar 1696/97, when he purchased land in Awagam. He was a farmer, increasing his land holdings several times. He passed away sometime after 1725, likely in 1734 at the age of 63.

On 16 Jun 1734, the widow Hesther was baptized and admitted to full communion in the First Church at Plymouth. At the time of her death in 1736, she was staying at the home of her daughter Mercy.

1. Joshua Gibbs, b. 20 Dec 1690.
2. A daughter, d. infancy, 1693
3. Mercy Gibbs, b. 21 Jan 1695; d. Plymouth after 27 Jun 1745. She m. Samuel ELLIS about 1717.
4. Joanna Gibbs, b. 13 Mar 1697; d. after 2 Apr 1762. She m. William ELLIS 19 Mar 1718.
5. John Gibbs, b. 16 Feb 1699; d. after 20 Nov 1767. He m. Sarah CUSHMAN 6 Dec 1726. They had children Rebekah, Esther, Sarah, Sarah, John, Fear, Lois, Issac.
6. Hannah Gibbs, b. 24 Feb 1701; d. after 7 Jun 1770 probably Lebanon, CT. She m. Benjamin ELLIS 25 Mar 1723/24.
7. Experience Gibbs, b. 19 Feb 1703; d. before 15 Oct 1736. She m. Benjamin CORNISH 11 Nov 1725 in Plymouth. They had children Benjamin, Susannah, Mercy, and John.
