Elizabeth's family name sometimes given as Hinksman or Henchsman.
George Vaughan was a resident of Scituate in 1653, the births of his first two children recorded in Marshfield, and the fourth was bp. Scituate. He was among first settlers of Middleborough. He and most of his descendents for several generations resided in that part of town known as Wappanucket.

- Mary Vaughan, bp. 1 Jul 1660; d. after 20 Jun 1727 in Bridgewater, MA. She m. Jonathan WASHBURN (son of John and Elizabeth (MITCHELL) WASHBURN and brother of Joseph WASHBURN) about 1683 in Bridgewater.
- John Vaughan, b. 1658; d. 1676.
