Brown & White Snowballs 3/4 cup butter (must be butter or cookies will be tough) 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups flour 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup semisweet chocolate bits Instant cocoa mix Sifted confectioners sugar Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift in flour and salt. Mix thoroughly. Stir in nuts & chocolate. Shape into 1" balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets in 350° oven 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Roll half in cocoa mix, the remainder in confectioners sugar. When completely cool, roll again. Makes 65 to 70.
