Turkey Meat loaf or Meatballs Makes good cold sandwiches. (can easily be doubled) 1 lb. ground turkey (7% fat) 1/2 cup bread crumbs (I use Progresso Italian) 1 egg 1/2 cup grated cheese (Mexican mix is best) 1/2 medium onion, chopped 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder 1/2 tablespoon oregano 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce 1/2 tsp ground pepper 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce Combine all ingredients lightly with your hands until well mixed. Shape loaf into a loaf pan. Pour small can of Hunt's tomato-garlic sauce over meatloaf. Bake 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Make 1 1/2 inch meat balls. Bake on cookie sheet for about 25 minutes. These freeze well.
