Married Jane in 1836 by whom he has no children, wife had one child Martha WALTON aged 8. John ELSE Assistant Overseer says that Jane, wife of Thomas PARKER and Martha her child are now chargeable to Matlock and Thomas PARKER is also become chargeable in consequence thereof. 1838

My brother was born Wetton Staffs of parents Samuel and Elizabeth HOLEHOUSE. Father moved to Scarthin Nick, Matlock. My brother had two children Sarah and Thomas. Soon after the birth of my nephew, Thomas my brother enlisted in the militia and has not been heard of for more than twenty years, believed dead. About nine years ago I and my family were removed from Matlock to Wetton, Staffs. Mr KNOWLES was Overseer of Matlock at the time."  1840
