Adopted at birth through a Lutheran Adoption Agency. Kristin has knowledge of her biological parents and has been in touch with them following her marriage and sees them on occasion. Norm and Sue invited her bio. mother and grandmother to their home. Kristin and Grant flew from Nashville to Dallas to meet them. She said she wasn't able to eat beforehand. She favors her bio. mother a lot. They both have blonde hair. Have the same gait and liked the same flavor of ice cream. Her bio. mother was married to a doctor and lived in Tucson, Arizona and had other children. Her bio. dad was married and living in Houston and had no other children. His brother was aware of Kristin's birth but not his mother. He gave her some pictures of himself when he was younger. Kristin said it seemed like an older sister or brother she had never seen before. Her adoptive parents would always be her Mother and Dad. It is wonderful "the need to know" was satisfied!
An honors student and graduate from Baylor University and the University of Tennessee with a master's degree in psychology. She is a social worker for a foster care agency.
