[NI1109] As a child of seven years old, she came with her parents to America in September, 1867.

[NI1111] Lived in Red Bluff, CA.

[NI1151] Richard was mayor of Caldwell, ID. At age 36 he and his wife perished in a private plane accident in April, 1948. The children were taken in by his inlaws, the Arnsbergs of Nampa, ID.

[NI1158] Spring 1709: Johannes with wife, children and brother left their home in Germany and went by boat or raft down the Rhine River to Rotterdam (Amsterdam), Holland. It should be noted that from 1707-1709 there were wars and many hardships in the Palatine area of Germany.

Fall 1709: Johannes, family and brother travelled to England from Rotterdam on Captain Johann Ranneld's ship.

Jan-Feb 1710: Johannes, family and brother left London, England, in one of ten ships with 3000 Palatines on board, headed for America. It was a six month trip at sea in small ships packed with many people. It was a hazardous jouney with unsanitary conditions, malnutrituion, illness, and one ship lost at sea. Approximately 1000 Palatines died enroute, including Johannes' wife, two children, and brother.

July 1710: Johannes, the sole survivor of the family, arrived in what is now New York Harbor, and was quarantined on Nutten Island (now Governor's Island).

Fall 1710: Johannes was moved with about 1500 of the Palatine survivors to Upstate New York along the Hudson River. At a site near Rhinebeck, New York, known as East Camp, they began building shelters for themselves for the upcoming winter.

1711: Johannes Zaysdorf of Queensbury was a soldier in "Palatine Volunteers to Canada."

Sept 1715: Johannes naturalized at Kingston.

[NI1162] 1782: Jacob Reisdorph served in Col. Henry van Resselaer's Regiment of the Militia, Albany County Eighth Regiment, New York. He received Land Bounty Rights as a Revolutionary War soldier. Soldiers did not get paid for service, but they received Land Bounty Rights that could be used to claim a portion of unappropriated land at the western frontier of New York. Jacob passed his Land Bounty Rights on to his eldest son, Jacobus.

[NI1166] Served during the War of 1812. Received from the government for service bounty lands near Olean, New York. It was reported the history of Cottonwood County that John grew up in Claverack, New York.

[NI1207] Joined the Red Hook Lutheran Church June 4, 1756. Red Hook Lutheran Church, Dutchess County records show their names as Johannes Reisdorf and Lisabeth Demoet.

[NI1242] Nathaniel served in the Confederate Army under Stonewall Jackson. He was one of three men to volunteer to go within 300 yards of enemy lines for information. He was never wounded in war, but was captured and held prisoner at Fort Delaware for two years. Move to Heidenheimer, TX.
