Vinson and Mary Sprouse Line
Important Message: During research on this side of the Sprouse family it must be realized that me and many of other researchers have come across at least three to four Vincent's in our research. These Vincent's are all different, but early research showed them as the same. It appears to me and others that Vincent or Vinson had a son Vincent and at least two of his grandchildren are also named Vincent, causing much confusion. This information needs to be figured out. Any input on this matter would really be helpful and appreciated. The two major dates that keep coming up are for Vincent Sr. dying September 6, 1830 near Gowdeyville, Union District, South Carolina. and his son dying d: 1879 in Polk Co., North Carolina. These dates would mean that each died being well over 100 years old. Possible but highly unlikely for the times.
