1779 - Vincent Sprouse of Fluvanna obtained from Thomas Napier of Fluvanna on May 13, 1779 for 100L, one certain tract of land of 272 acres in Fluvanna on the head branches of Woodson's creek known and called by the name of Lawhorn's. 1779 - Vincent Sprouse along with Richard Napier of Fluvanna to Thomas Napier of Fluvanna, for 200 L, one certain tract of land in Fluvanna on both sides of Ballenger's creek, including the houses and plantations whereon the said Vincent Sprouse now lives, containing 200 acres. The land was patented to Gilbert Gibson on August 20, 1747. Signed - Vincent Sprouse, Richard Napier. Witnessed - none. Recorded August 5, 1779.
