According to record, Gilbert Gilchrist last moved to the small west Barbour County community of Mount Andrew, Alabama.  This old cemetery with it's mysterious mounds of rock and brick is known to date from the mid-1800's; yet, unfortunately all records were lost many years ago.  It is known that Gilbert Gilchrist died in 1857 in Mount Andrew.  Could one of these piles mark his gravesite?
