Obituary
Charles Stidham
Charles Stidham, age 85, of Springfield, Tennessee, died on February 24, 2002, at the Elmhurst Nursing Home in Springfield. He was born on January 3, 1917, the son of James and Adeline (Parrot) Stidham. On August 31, 1940, he married Jewell Thackett in Hamilton, Ohio. Mr. Stidham was employed as a tool and die maker for the General Motors Corporation. He was a member of the Martinsville, Indiana, Masonic Lodge #74, the Moose, American Legion and the Elks. Mr. Stidham served in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr. Stidham is survived by his wife, Jewell; a daughter, Patricia A. Sedillo of Springfield, Tennessee; two sons, Charles L. Stidham of Boca Raton, Florida and Steven A. Stidham of Englewood, Colorado; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters; David, Frank, Dewey, Grace, Pauline, Elizabeth, Bert and Houston Stidham.
Funeral service will he held at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at "D" Street, on Thursday, February 28, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Marty Bales officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
