Mrs. Flora Feltner
Mrs. Flora Feltner born August 12, 1910 passed away at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital, Hyden, Kentucky on March 15, 1997 at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 3 days. She was born at Cutshin, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joe Howard and the late Lucy Stidham Howard. By occupation Mrs. Flora Feltner was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ. She also had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky.
Mrs. Feltner was preceded in death by her husband: Nicholas Feltner who passed away on August 10, 1987, she also was preceded in death by one daughter: Marie Feltner and one son: Ralph Feltner.
Mrs. Flora Feltner leaves surviving the following relatives: five daughters: Pauline Young of South Lebanon, Ohio, Edith Bradley of Hampton, Ohio, Louise Butters of Independence, Kentucky, Helen Lewis of Warminster, Pennsylvania, Marilyn Hoskins of Wendover, Kentucky; three sons: Joseph Pearl Feltner of Wooton, Kentucky, Carl Feltner of Wooton, Kentucky; David Feltner of Wooton, Kentucky; one sister: Eva Johnson of Somerset, Kentucky; one brother: Isaac Howard of Somerset, Kentucky.
Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Feltner were conducted Tuesday, March 18, 1997 at 2:00 P.M. at the Polls Creek Church of Christ, Smilax, Kentucky with Keith Bowling officiating. Interment followed in the Creech Cemetery, Wooton, under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden.
The following served as pallbearers: Harold Feltner, Timmy Feltner, David Feltner, Timothy Lewis, Larry Lewis, Greg Hoskins, Tony Hoskins, and Ralph Feltner, Jr.
