Stidham, Oklahoma is eight miles northwest of Eufuala. The Stidham Post Office, established January 30, 1897. was named for George W. [487] Stidham, a prominent Creek leader. The first Postmaster was Alexander Lyon. Pictured here is Postmistress Mrs. Hazel McIntosh in 1973. The Stidham Post Office is no longer in use.
