Died July 10, 1914 of Malarial fever
In the 1900 census it shows Mary and Tandy had 10 children and only
8 living.
I can only account for 9 children. Jesse T. was listed
in the 1880 and his
is missing so I assume he died and then probably a child was born and
died in
the 1880- 1900 time frame.
Then By 1910 Poor Mary only had 6 children living-- so that would be
Jesse
T., unknown child, George Monroe and Charley M.

Notes for OTHA STOKES:
Remember the newspapers make mistakes. Notice Carrie is not listed
as a
survivor and since she died in 1918 she should be listed. Notice
theyhave J.
M. listed which does not match. I figure they got Aunt Johnnie
and Martin
G.'s initials confused and J.M. is really Griddley and they omitted
Aunt
Johnnie
From a Woodruff County Newspaper.
