Regrettably, I have no photos of the interior of Pat's Store, Poole, Nebraska.
But, thankfully, I made some sketches from memory sometime in the 1970's.

Pat's Store was at Main & Fourth.  (But we didn't know that.)

Pat's Store looking North from Main Street.

The business part of Pat's Store.  Looking West from the main entrance.

Looking East into the cream room from the main entrance.
The phone was on the "Pleasanton Line."  It required long distance to call the Stover house, on the Ravenna line, only a few blocks away.
To the left is the fruit stand.  Grapes, cherries, bananas, apples, oranges.  And gnats.
"Kim's fall."  He still has a scar on his forehead.  He fell right on a wooden corner and spurted blood.  Mom was panicked.

Kim (in 1999) has the clock; restored and working.

The cream room on the East side of the store, looking NE.

The "cream" room, looking South.  Also the tire repair room.

The feed room.  Cold storage for eggs and cream.  The egg candler.  Looking North from the cream room.

The back of the store before the Post Office was moved further back with a separate entrance.  Looking North.  (And that was after the P.O. was moved from the front of the store, the business part.)
Many a Saturday night did the Stovers have soup and sandwiches at the back of the store.
