There's a predominant schnoz gene that runs in our family. Sometimes incorrectly referred to as the "Stover nose." More likely, it's a "Clayton nose," or possibly a "Ewer nose." When shnoz genes mate with other schnoz genes, there's little chance to escape. Glenn Clayton Stover had "the nose" and married into a nosey family (Dorothea Gruber). Their proginy were doomed to carry the nose gene.
Take pride. Schnoz pride. What other options are there?
After suffering years of being known as "hose nose" in High School, I eventually took pride in my nose heritage.... -Rod Stover
(No intention to leave anyone out, but the gene is not totally predominant)

Kerwin failed to pass the schnoz gene. His wife has a relatively normal schnoz, apparently predominant. Shame. |
