Marie Lacquement was the fifth child (acording to what I have found so far). She was born around 1833 in France. She married Philip Genre in Illinois. I have found that by 1880, Phillip was dead because in the 1880 census, Marie is listed as a widow1. Further details have yet to be found on him or his death.

However... I have found that they had at least four children according to the same 1880 census records. This record shows Marie and the all these children living on a farm. The children are all listed as "working on farm" for their occupations. I will be (hopefully) viewing the microfilm of these census records to see if there is any further information on this farm.

I am still looking for more records on these children and their families. If you have any further information, please contact me.
