Emma was born in Berlin, Green Lake County in Wisconsin, or so the story goes, to Carl and Lena on 25 February, 1885. Shortly after that, they came to Ohio. When Emma was 21, she married Charles Holl in Cleveland, Ohio. Somewhere along the line, the name was changed to Hall. She had two children by Charles that I know of, Mildred, and little Charles. I don't know if he is a "jr" or not so I will refer to him as "little Charles".

Charles died, when, where or how is still unknown. What is known is that she remarried. She married Jack Gimbel and when she died, her name was still Gimbel. I have no information on Jack, either, but that doesn't mean I have stopped looking for him or Charles.

Emma died in Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio on 19 June 1981. She had been in Pearlview Nursing Center there. The address was 4426 Homestead Drive in Brunswick. The information on the death certificate was supplied by Valeria Hall. The address for her was on Portman in Cleveland. I have tried to find her at that address with no luck. She may be a grandchild or possibly a daughter-in-law. I have not given up trying to find her, though.

I am also looking for her daughter and son Mildred and little Charles. At this time I would think that they may be in their 60's. If anyone has any information on any of these people, please contact me at the email link below.
