This is the story of my grandparents, or at least what I know of them.Louis was born on September 12, 1894 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is said to have been a Merchant Marine and a carnival barker. It was while employed as a carnival barker that John Galbrait introduced his sister-in-law, Minnie, to Louis. Galbrait was married to Martha, the young lady's sister. This young lady was my grandmother, Wilhelmine "Minnie" Schell. By this time the name had been officially changed from "Schittkowski" to Schell.
They were married on October 20, 1920 in Cleveland.
