For the last 45 years, I was under the assumption that my heritage was "pure-bred German". Well, once I started my Genealogy research, I have become more and more confused as time goes by. On my mother's side, I have come to find out that her maternal's family was from Prussia. Now that area is called Poland. I find out that my father's mother was also born in Prussia, now Poland, and his father in the Ukraine, both of German parents. I think that you can understand my confusion. However, since they were all supposedly German families at the time, I will continue to claim the German heritage (at least until I am proven totally wrong and something else is the right answer).

On these pages, I hope to show the information I have acquired during the last few years on my grandparents families. Also is included is the information given to my father on some of his family.

Below you will find a listing of some of the surnames I am researching. On some, I have a tremendous amount of documentation, dates, places, etc. On others, some family stories and not much else. Then again, on others I will have a combination of both and maybe even some pictures thrown in just for good measure.

With any luck, someone with additional information will see these pages and email me (using the link on any page) and give me additional information for my files and I can give other information back in return.

Please realize that this is only the beginning of a very long journey into the past. I have been searching for only four years and have come up with these bits of information. I have yet to discover some of the most important items yet, but that does not mean that I have stopped looking for them. These pages, even this one, will be ever-changing as I acquire more information or put up more of what I have not included yet, so please bookmark them and come back to visit on a regular basis.

Whatever the case, please, check them all out and see, if by some odd quirk of fate, we are related and then let me know about it! I would love to find a few hundred new cousins!!!
