The Memorials to Louie Riggall (VAD) and Rene Singleton, a WWII Army Nurse, are on display in the Maffra Library. They are described as "Opus Sectile", or "segmented work". Nearby is the matching WWI Maffra Shire Honour Roll. Names on that Honour Roll are included in Service Personnel from Maffra Shire WWI
Rene Singleton's story, written by Ann Synan, will appear in Gippsland Heritage Journal #27

The Memorials in the Maffra Library, which is in the former RSL rooms.
The two plaques and the mosaic Maffra Shire Honour Roll (above), appear to be the work of Brooks Robinson, of Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. There is also a large double window dedicated to Louie Riggall in St John's Anglican church in Maffra.
